Question for day 29 of 365:: Have you discovered the problems you should be solving?

Question for day 29 of 365::

Have you discovered the problems you should be solving?

Problems have a unique way of shaping us, maturing us, growing us, making us stronger, wiser, and rewarding us compared to ease and pleasure.

Problems contain opportunities. Problems carry within itself the invitation to make contributions to life. Man has always lived to solve problems. The inventions of man has always been an attempt to solve a problem. And as long as this world exists, there will always be plenty of problems to solve.

When you look at the underlying principles of money, you see that problems are tied to money. As such, the formula for making money has never changed since the world began. And it will never change.

A man makes alot of money by solving a small problem for a large number of people. A man makes alot of money by solving a large problem for a small amount of people. Either way, the formula remains the same.

The underlying principle is that we get paid for solving problems. The problem a man solves is the value he brings to the marketplace of life.

Though creating value consumes our time, we don't get paid for time. We get paid for the value we create or provide in a specific amount of time.

At the very least, we are all blessed with the gift of time. It would have been a nightmare if some people had more time than others.

Everyone truly exists to solve a problem - to provide value. And we are not superior to each other or to others. Its just that some people have discovered the problems they should be solving, and they have become good at it.

As humans, we see what we choose to see. People who see opportunities are people who are looking for opportunities. We all need to position ourselves to see opportunities in problems and be able to provide value by solving them.

Here are a few insights to help us position ourselves this year!

1. Intentionally look for opportunities  problems. Where some people see lack, some see opportunity to make provision.

2. Acquire the skills and knowledge THAT solves problems - do you know what you don't know?

3. Work hard on yourself. Learn, Re-learn, Un-learn. You can either pay now and play later or play now and pay later. Either way, life always demands a payment.

Let this year be the year you look for opportunities in the problems around you, work hard on yourself to get the knowledge and skills needed to solve those problems.

Cheers to problem solving!!!
